Wer aufgrund des niedlichen Charadesigns unserer Heldinnen eine sanfte Story erwartet, sieht sich alsbald getäuscht: voller hintergründiger Ironie und actiongeladen Kämpfen die SM-Girls - nicht immer unblutig - gegen StarFace, der es auf die königliche Familie Romana´s abgesehen hat und dem jedes Mittel recht ist, um an sein Ziel zu gelangen, auch wenn dies bedeutet die halbe Stadt zu vernichten. Starlight was an early British television programme, one of the first regular series to be broadcast by the BBC Television Service during the 1930s. Its first edition was broadcast on 3 November 1936 – the day after the service had officially begun – and it continued to be broadcast until the suspension of television for the duration of the Second World War during 1939. As with all other BBC programmes of the time, Starlight was transmitted live from the studios at Alexandra Palace. The shows were not recorded, and no material other than still photographs exists for the series now.

It aired on cable channel jTBC from October 27, 2012 to March 17, 2013 on Saturdays and Sundays at 20:50 for 39 episodes. The series received consistently solid ratings, and its January 26, 2013 episode reached 7.955%, breaking the previous record of Reply 1997 to become the highest viewership ratings that a drama has received on Korean cable. It went on to break its own record for the February 24 episode, with another cable drama all-time rating high of 10.715%.
