Arriving at his sister Sue’s chaotic, unkempt flat, he confronts the ruins of his old life—a dirty fridge, a cluttered bedroom reduced to storage, and the ghosts of a once-close family. Seeking solace, he revisits his old pub, a place teeming with memories. As he steps inside, the bartender recognizes him with shock, hinting at Jake’s mysterious past and the reasons for his long absence. “Lounder Run” explores themes of homecoming, redemption, and the unshakable grip of one’s origins.

UFC 204: Bisping vs. Henderson 2 was a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship held on October 8, 2016 at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England. The event was headlined by a UFC Middleweight Championship bout between current champion Michael Bisping and the former Pride Welterweight, Pride Middleweight and former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion Dan Henderson. The pairing met previously in July 2009 at UFC 100 with Henderson taking the victory via second round highlight reel knockout.

The double interview is controlled and manipulated by a computer-generated severed hand which Maria describes as an object once discovered in the trash while working in the violent northern town of Mexicali. This CGI hand was in turn produced by Max, who was born with no arms, and sought refuge in computer-imaging as a means to operate and manipulate a digital reality.

Am 17. August 1991 absolvierten AC/DC einen denkwürdigen Headliner-Auftritt beim prestigereichen Monsters Of Rock Festival im englischen Castle Donington. Nachdem Metallica die gewaltige Menschenmenge angeheizt hatten, schalteten die Australier noch einen Gang höher und rockten das komplette Festivalareal in Ekstase. Schon nach den ersten Takten von "Thunderstruck" haben AC/DC das weite Rund im Griff und zelebrieren ein furioses Heimspiel, das nur zwei Sieger kennt: Band und Publikum. Während die Fanscharen in beeindruckender Eintracht auf und ab hüpfen, legen Malcolm Youngs perfekt sitzende Riffs den Grundstein für eine zweistündige Lehrveranstaltung in Sachen erdiger Rock 'n' Roll. 26 Kameras (darunter eine in einem Helikopter angebrachte) fangen jede Bewegung des Quintetts ein, bringen die ungeheure Dynamik der Show sehr anschaulich rüber und blenden auch immer wieder die ausrastenden Zuschauer ein.

Das für die DVD aufgezeichnete Konzert fand am bereits am 19. September im belgischen Lint statt. Ausgesuchte VIP-Gäste in den dortigen Alfacam-Studios durften Zeuge der Darbietungen des Quartetts sein. Entsprechend geruhsam geht es bei der Performance zur Sache. Lediglich etwas klischeehafte Projektionen mit wabernden Bildern auf der Videoleinwand lockern das gepflegte Fummeln an den Knöpfen und Reglern auf. Das kommt ziemlich nahe an das heran, was Rockmusiker gerne unter dem Banner unplugged vollführen. Jarre, der Meister des elektronischen Pomp, reduziert sich selbst aufs Wesentliche. Ich bin mir aber ganz und gar nicht sicher, ob ich das eigentlich sehen möchte. Wenn es um den Klang geht, hätte es auch eine einfache DVD-Audio getan.
