Story of Kale: When Someone's in Love

Weil er seine Tochter wiedersehen will, begibt sich Artan (Alexej Manvelov) zum Arbeitsort seiner Ex-Frau Louise (Alma Pöysti) in ein Krankenhaus und nimmt sie als Geisel. In die Verhandlungen schaltet sich auch der Polizist Lukas (Fares Fares) ein, der sich schließlich gemeinsam mit Artan und Louise auf einen emotionsgeladenen Roadtrip durchs ländliche Schweden begibt. Denn deren Tochter Cassandra (Amicia Heijbel) befindet sich in Obhut von Louises Eltern und dorthin soll die Reise führen, während draußen die Sonne brennt und Spezialeinsatzkräfte dem Auto mit Geiselnehmer und Geiseln stets auf den Fersen sind.

Die Superheldenfamilie Thunderman wird nach einer missglückten Rettungsmission von der Großstadt zurück in die Vorstadt von Hiddenville geschickt. Während der Großteil der Familie die Rückkehr in die vertraute Umgebung durchaus genießt, wollen die Zwillinge Max (Jack Griffo) und Nora (Addison Riecke) sich schnellstmöglich rehabilitieren und wieder echte Superhelden im Dienste der Allgemeinheit sein. Dass Superschurke Dark Mayhem (Matt Mullins) wieder auftaucht, kommt ihnen da fast schon gelegen, doch dessen Pläne sind diesmal noch teuflischer als je zuvor, sodass die gesamte Familie Thunderman einmal mehr zusammenarbeiten muss, um sie zu durchkreuzen.

While digging one of the many tunnels for the Moscow metro, Soviet workers unearth ruins of a dungeon. The site is closed, the metro tunnel is diverted, and amidst the bustle no one notices the tunnel workers’ foreman pocketing a little ‘souvenir’ – a book-sized frame made of precious metals featuring an inscription in an unknown language.
