In addition to screening films for the public, AFA houses a film museum, research library and art gallery. The event, which raised money for the Archives and celebrated the life and work of avant-garde film maker Stan Brakhage, featured Sonic Youth providing an improvised instrumental collaboration with silent Brakhage’s films. The band performed with drummer/percussionist Tim Barnes (Essex Green, Jukeboxer, Silver Jews).

Kapa and Pepe shall return by it into the past in order to set time right, which is out of joint, that is, to correct history, to save King Louis II, and prevent the Mohács Disaster. Pepe yields to the not too tender persuasion to enter upon the great journey through time, dies and revives, and they arrive at the battlefield of Mohács in time. Kapa films the events. The Turks win and cut off the king’s, Pepe’s, head, still the Hungarians dictate the peace treaty. Kapa and Pepe want to return, they fill the time machine up with water from the well, yet it won’t start. Even so Kapa and Pepe hover over Budapest and quarrel.

Now the two candidates, together with their lawyers and the others, must find Hector's will to see who he wanted as his successor. Amidst all this, love stories, madness and misunderstandings unfold - all while the theater's existence is in danger.

Ein heilloses Durcheinander bei den Hochzeits-Vorbereitungen ist damit wohl garantiert, und natürlich finden sich wie erwartet gleich reihenweise Fettnäpfchen auf Jims Weg zum Altar.

Unterwegs treffen sie andere Leute, mit denen sie sich verbünden und gegen die Armee ankämpfen.

Nach 'Karl the Butcher' tritt nun Karl Jr. in die Fußstapfen seines Daddys und meuchelt unschuldige hamburger Bürger. Angeleitet wird Karlchen dabei von seiner nicht minder kaputten Mutter, zu der er eine äußerst 'innige' Beziehung pflegt...
