Aber nicht nur Christen müssen bei Maher dran glauben, auch Moslems, Juden, Mormonen, Scientologen kriegen ihr Fett weg.

Sie sind Gefangene in ihrem eigenen Haus. Im Stadtzentrum von Hebron leben drei palästinensische Witwen mit ihren insgesamt elf Kindern in einer absurden Lage: seit 1997 befindet sich das mehrstöckige Gebäude, das sie bewohnen, exakt auf der Grenze – die Vorderseite steht unter israelischem Kommando, die Palästinenser überwachen die Rückseite. Auf dem Dach befindet sich ein israelischer Militärposten und auch im Treppenhaus wimmelt es nur so von Soldaten. Najwa, Nawal und Siham dürfen die Grenze nicht passieren. Die Besatzung ist für sie Routine, das Absurde eine Gegebenheit.

Der israelische Filmemacher Yoav Shamir geht der Frage nach, was Antisemitismus heute bedeutet, zwei Generationen nach dem Holocaust. Dazu begleitet er eine israelische Jugendgruppe auf einer Reise nach Polen ins KZ Auschwitz.
