Dabei lässt er es nicht an Interesse für die restauratorischen Arbeiten im Museum fehlen, konterkariert dies aber auch mit den ökonomischen Zwängen eines modernen Museumsbetriebes. Wie viele Menschen in den unterschiedlichsten Positionen es wohl benötigt, um eine solche Institution zu betreiben? Gezeigt wird das volle Spektrum des Arbeitsalltags im Museum. Da werden Bilder auf Insektenfraß untersucht sowie zahlreiche Restaurationsarbeiten durchgeführt, in zahllosen Meetings wird das Budget geplant und es wird erörtert, wie man weitere Geldmittel für das Museum beschaffen kann. An wieder anderer Stelle werden Marketingkampagnen erarbeitet und Besuche von Politikern vorbereitet. Aber auch die internen Problematiken und Konflikte werden bei diesem Porträt keineswegs ausgespart.
