Fatale Folge des unfreiwilligen Elektroschocks: Dexters Gehirn verwandelt sich in einen Computer, und aus dem verlachten Trottel wird ein Super-Genie, um das sich die eitlen College-Professoren reißen. Der plötzliche Ruhm steigt Dexter so in den Kopf, dass er darüber ganz seine alten Freunde vergisst. Bis er dann dringend ihre Hilfe braucht - denn in seinem Kopf befinden sich brisante Informationen über illegale Geschäfte, die von Arnos Computer stammen ...

Nun aber besucht der Alte seine Frau jeden Tag im Krankenhaus und sein roter Ford Escort (Baujahr 72) ist alles, was ihm geblieben ist. Als er eines Tages stürzt und kaum noch gehen kann, wird er zu seinem Sohn und dessen Frau Liisa in die Stadt verfrachtet. Und dort treffen Welten aufeinander...

Der 90-minütige Dokumentarfilm "Aghet" (armenisch: "die Katastrophe") von Eric Friedler erzählt von einem der dunkelsten Kapitel des Ersten Weltkriegs: dem Genozid an den Armeniern, bei dem bis zu 1,5 Millionen Menschen im Osmanisch-Türkischen Reich starben. Dieser Völkermord wird allerdings bis heute von der Türkei als historische Tatsache nicht anerkannt und von der Welt weitgehend ignoriert. "Aghet" beschäftigt sich mit den politischen Motiven für das bis heute andauernde Schweigen. Für den Film wurde der Verlauf des Völkermordes aus zahlreichen historischen Quellen rekonstruiert.

Schnulzensänger Alain Moreau hat es nach vielen Jahren zur lokalen Größe in der französischen Provinz gebracht, verehrt von weiblichen Fans. Eine richtige Karriere blieb dem gealterten Crooner jedoch verwehrt. Er steckt in dem Milieu der Hotel-Tanzsäle für immer fest. Deshalb stürzt er sich förmlich in ein Abenteuer mit der jungen Immobilienmaklerin Marion die ihn aber auf Distanz hält. Zwischen den grundverschiedenen Menschen funkt es dennoch, sehr zum Verdruss von Alains Ex-Frau Michèle die als Managerin für ihn sorgt.
