Der homosexuelle Maler Jean-Baptiste ist mit 70 Jahren in Paris gestorben. Freunde und Verwandte des verstorbenen Künstlers fahren in einem Zug in eine Provinzstadt, um dort den Toten zu beerdigen. Schon während der langen Zugfahrt streiten sich die Protagonisten, persönliche Konflikte unter ihnen werden sichtbar. Angekommen treffen die Bahnfahrer auf die Verwandtschaft. Nach der Beerdigung spitzen sich die Konflikte zu, und es kommt zu größeren Auseinandersetzungen unter den Protagonisten.

Griff (Daniel Chilson) versucht in seinem Verbindungshaus seine Beziehung zu Pete (Don Handfield) zu verheimlichen. Als Pete krankenhausreif geschlagen wird, ist Griff der einzige, der der Polizei Hinweise geben kann, doch er traut sich nicht. Wenig überraschend, sehr naiv, aber ansprechend.
