With input from actor and writer Jan Hlobil, director and cinematographer Rene Smaal presents a film in the true surrealist tradition, in the sense that only 'found' elements were used, and that it defies interpretation based on ordinary cause-and-effect time sequence.

Auf der Reise werden die Newtons von zwei trotteligen Verbrechern verfolgt, die ihre geheimen Informationen auf einer DVD gespeichert haben, die sich ausgerechnet Richard Newton ausgeliehen hat. Nachdem die Verbrecher durch Beethoven hinter Schloss und Riegel gebracht und die geheimen Informationen sichergestellt werden, will die Familie Beethoven George zurückgeben. Da aber Georges Familie in Europa aufgehalten wurde, darf Richard Beethoven zur Freude der Kinder noch ein ganzes Jahr lang behalten.
