A story about unlocking the years of hurt and resentment that has caused the strained relationship between Xiao Dingquan and his father, the King. Tony Crane played New Orleans police lieutenant/detective Remy McSwain, Susan Walters played state district attorney Anne Osbourne and Barry Corbin played police chief C.D. LeBlanc. Daniel Petrie Jr. was the executive producer of the series. 35 episodes were broadcast over two seasons. The series takes place in New Orleans, Louisiana and was shot on location.

Don Quixote is a 2000 television film adaptation of the classic novel Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, made by Hallmark Entertainment and distributed by Turner Network Television A dubbed-into-Spanish version was distributed by Divisa Home Video. The original music was by Richard Hartley and the cinematography by David Connell. The film completed a decades-old goal of Yates — his original intent to cast Richard Burton in the lead role. The film stars John Lithgow as Don Quixote de La Mancha, and Bob Hoskins as Sancho Panza with Isabella Rossellini, Vanessa L. Entgegen anderslautender Beschreibungen, ist dieser Anime keine Fortsetzung und keine alternative Story zum Original! Es ist vielmehr eine gnadenlose Recap-Orgie, bei der 11 der 12 Episoden in 20 von 24 Minuten ausschließlich Szenen der Originalserie enthalten, neu sortiert nach Charakteren (um eine Art »Game Arcs« zu erzeugen) und mit neuen OP- und ED-Songs pro Charakter sowie dazu angefertigten neuen Animationen bzw. Standbildern - also quasi Anime Musikvideos für alle Charaktere basierend auf deren Themensongs. Lediglich die letzte der 12 Episoden bietet tatsächlich neues Material, wobei das Ende der Originalserie in Vergessenheit geraten ist - wir sind also wieder im Harem-Modus und das nutzt diese Comedy-Episode voller Fanservice gnadenlos aus. Aber von einem »alternativen Ende« kann keine Rede sein und die Handlung spielt auch nicht »mehrere Jahre in der Zukunft«.
