Telecrime was a British drama series that aired on the BBC Television Service from 1938 to 1939 and in 1946. One of the first multi-episode drama series ever made, it is also one of the first television dramas written especially for television not adapted from theatre or radio. Having first aired for 5 episodes from 1938 to 1939, Telecrime returned in 1946, following the resumption of television after World War II, and aired as Telecrimes. A whodunit crime drama, Telecrime showed the viewer enough evidence to solve the crime themselves. Most episodes were written by Mileson Horton. All 17 episodes are lost. Aired live, their preservation was not technically possible at the time.

Shuichi ist Mitglied in einer neu gegründeten Band "Bad Luck", die noch in den Kinderschuhen steckt und auf ihrem Weg auf die große Bühne ist. Eines Abends spaziert der junge Sänger noch eine Runde durch den Park, um über seinen neuen Songtext nachzudenken. Als ihm selbiger aus der Hand flattert und direkt vor die Füße eines Unbekannten segelt. Dieser bückt sich natürlich danach und liest ihn. Trocken sagt er zu unserem Protagonisten, dass der Text schlecht sei und er kein Talent zum Schreiben hätte. Wie konnte Shuichi auch ahnen, dass dieser Unbekannte ein berühmter Autor war. Frustriert von dieser Begegnung und vor allem dieser Kritik, spioniert er dem Schriftsteller hinterher und will ihn, an seinem Haus angekommen, zur Rede stellen. Nach einigen Rangeleien wird er überraschend von Yuki - so heisst der Autor - geküsst. Verwirrt von diesem Zusammentreffen will Shuichi diesen Yuki unbedingt wieder sehen. Hat ihm dieser Kuss womöglich gefallen?
