Telecrime was a British drama series that aired on the BBC Television Service from 1938 to 1939 and in 1946. One of the first multi-episode drama series ever made, it is also one of the first television dramas written especially for television not adapted from theatre or radio. Having first aired for 5 episodes from 1938 to 1939, Telecrime returned in 1946, following the resumption of television after World War II, and aired as Telecrimes. A whodunit crime drama, Telecrime showed the viewer enough evidence to solve the crime themselves. Most episodes were written by Mileson Horton. All 17 episodes are lost. Aired live, their preservation was not technically possible at the time.

The series is a spin-off of Dr. Phil and is the first talk show to be a third generation talk show spin-off, as Dr. Phil itself spun-off of The Oprah Winfrey Show. It was announced in December 2009, during its second season, that The Doctors was cleared through the 2011-2012 season. The third season premiered September 13, 2010, in high definition. Perot fürchtet um das Leben seiner beiden Angestellten und stellt einen Befreiungstrupp aus EDS-Mitarbeitern unter der Führung von Arthur D. Simons, einem ehemaligen Offizier der US-Armee, zusammen. Gemeinsam mit iranischen Verbündeten gelingt die Rettung aus dem Gefängnis, doch nun folgt eine gefährliche und abenteuerliche Flucht auf dem Landweg aus dem Iran in die Türkei.
