Der Zusatz »_7« bedeutet ungefähr, dass die Kleine im Ranking der Aliens nicht gerade hoch angesehen ist; genauer gesagt: tiefer geht’s nicht! Während NieA mit ihrem geringen Stand eigentlich keine Probleme hat, nimmt ihre menschliche Freundin Mayuko ihr ärmliches Dasein ziemlich schwer. Gleichzeitig frisst ihr NieA die Haare vom Kopf und müllt das kleine Zimmer der beiden auch noch mit allerlei Krempel für selbstgebaute UFOs voll.
