The production was nevertheless a huge success. The readers of the books were more than satisfied with what Marion Sarraut had done to Catherine. To their great joy, the producers had adapted the seven books more or less truthfully. Some minor changes had to be made, probably also because of the small bugdet they had at their disposal. Claudine Ancelot was a perfect Catherine. At her side, Pierre-Marie Escourrou as her great love Arnaud de Montsalvy. Pascale Petit was Sara, Benoît Brione was the evil Gilles de Rais, and Geneviève Casile Queen Yolande. For over two decades, the story of "Catherine and Arnaud" had vanished. In December 2007 the French company France Loisirs started releasing the long awaited Catherine Il suffit d'un amour TV-Serie on DVD. At the moment the whole TV series has been released on 5 double DVDs.

Mythic Warriors is a Canadian-produced animated television series that was a fixture of CBS' Saturday-morning cartoon lineup. Da kommt der 10jährige Caleb Temple (Lucas Black) ins Spiel, doch entgegen aller Erfahrungen stellt sich dieser Junge als große Herausforderung für den Sheriff dar. Zusätzlichen Widerstand erfährt Lucas zudem durch Calebs Schwester und seine Cousine. Mystisch und spannend wird American Gothic nicht nur durch die unglaubliche Tiefe der einzelnen Charaktere, sondern vor allem dadurch, dass keine der Personen grundsätzlich gut oder schlecht ist.

Als Helena (Josefin Asplund) von ihrer Schwester Siri (ebenfalls Asplund) einen Anruf erhält, ist sie überrascht: Beide Schwestern hatten sich vor Jahren zerstritten und seitdem keinen Kontakt mehr. Mehr noch verwundert ist Helena, dass die Schwester sie in die italienische Provinz Trentino einlädt, genauer gesagt in ein Sanatorium namens „Himmelstal“. Aber da Helena offen für eine Aussöhnung ist und die Reise auch als Anlass sieht, aus ihrem tristen Alltagsleben auszubrechen, macht sie sich auf die Reise. Kurz nach ihrer Ankunft wird Helena allerdings klar, dass der Wunsch nach Aussöhnung keinesfalls der Hintergrund des Anrufs ihrer Schwester war. In der vom mysteriösen Dr. Fisher (Matthew Modine) geleiteten Einrichtung ist nichts, wie es scheint. Und Siri gibt sich schnell als Helena aus, um von hier zu entkommen … (Text: bmk)
