Als Kenshin, Sanosuke, Kaoru und Yahiko in Yokohama ankommen, sehen sie eine Auseinandersetzung zwischen einigen betrunken westlichen Seeleuten und einer japanischen Frau. Ein bewaffneter Samurai tritt dazwischen, um die Frau zu schützen. Daraufhin kommt es zu einer Schlägerei, aus der der Samurai als Gewinner hervorgeht. Es stellt sich heraus, dass die Frau die Schwester einer Person ist, die Kenshin am Ende der letzten Dynastie getötet hat. Der unbekannte Samurai stellt sich Kenshin als Takimi Shigure vor. Er ist der Verlobte der Frau und somit ein guter Freund der Person, die Kenshin getötet hat. Noch weiß dieser nicht, dass Kenshin der Mörder war.

This is an April Fool's joke by Nitroplus. On 01.04.2011, an official website for Mahou Shoujo Sonico Magika, a parody of SoniComi (a game by Nitroplus), was opened with the announcement of it being a TV anime. On the same day, the opening video for the so called TV anime was released on YouTube by NitroPlusChannel. This opening is essentially the entire anime. The title is a clear reference to Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magika, a TV anime which screenplay was written by a Nitroplus staffer Urobuchi Gen, who also got credited for screenplay for this anime on the official page. No screenplay was ever written, of course.
