Die in England geborene Joan Stanley studiert in Cambridge Physik und verliebt sich auf dem Campus in Leo Galich. Durch ihn beginnt Joan das Leben in einem ganz neuen Blickwinkel zu sehen. Sie wird zu einer Sympathisantin der sowjetischen und kommunistischen Partei. Viele Jahre später, während des 2. Weltkriegs, wird sie als Beamtin der britischen Regierung für ein geheimes Nuklear-Forschungsprojekt angestellt. Dabei erkennt Joan, dass das Kräftemessen zwischen Ost und West kurz davor steht, zur gegenseitigen Zerstörung zu führen. Im Laufe der Zeit gibt sie Atombombengeheimnisse an Russland weiter. Über ein halbes Jahrhundert bleibt ihr Leben als Spionin unentdeckt. Im Jahr 2000 führt die mittlerweile 87-jährige Joan ein unauffälliges Rentnerdasein. Doch das findet ein jähes Ende, als der MI5 an ihre Tür klopft und die betagte Dame festnimmt, weil sie Geheimnisse an die Russen verkauft haben soll….

This is an April Fool's joke by Nitroplus. On 01.04.2011, an official website for Mahou Shoujo Sonico Magika, a parody of SoniComi (a game by Nitroplus), was opened with the announcement of it being a TV anime. On the same day, the opening video for the so called TV anime was released on YouTube by NitroPlusChannel. This opening is essentially the entire anime. The title is a clear reference to Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magika, a TV anime which screenplay was written by a Nitroplus staffer Urobuchi Gen, who also got credited for screenplay for this anime on the official page. No screenplay was ever written, of course.
