Denn eines der Mädchen, denen Seenu im Zug behilflich war, ist die Tochter eines Unterweltbosses und hat selbst ein Auge auf Seenu geworfen...

Die beiden lernen sich besser kennen und mögen sich, doch dannkommt der Tag, an dem alle Juden – auch sie – aus der Stadt gebracht werden, und Tono bemerkt, daß er einen riesigen Fehler begangen hat.
