From the pen of Yoshikawa Eiji comes this exciting story. The Naruto Strait separates Tokushima from the islands of Awaji and Honshu. On Tokushima the mad lord dreams of conquest and forges a bloody revolt against the Tokugawa shogunate. A mysterious swordsman named Noriyuki Gennojo has crossed Naruto’s waters to uncover the Awa clan’s secrets. He puts his life on the line after finding a testament of Awa’s secrets, written in blood by a dying man. Joining Noriyuki are a female ninja who loves him, and the beautiful daughter of an enemy who’s sworn to kill him. Awa’s defenders willl stop at nothing to prevent the blood-soaked letter from reaching the shogun.

A 3-way collaboration between Kamiusagi Rope, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, and TOHO Cinemas. The purpose is to promote a new TOHO theater opening up in Ueno on November 4, 2017. The collaboration video will also be available to view in TOHO Cinemas in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, and Saitama from Ocotober 21 - December 1.

In diesem Special geht es um das Team 7, sprich Naruto, Sasuke und Sakura, die versuchen, das Sportfestival der Genins zu gewinnen. Der Preis ist dieses Mal eine Woche Urlaub und die drei geben natürlich ihr Bestes. Zum großen Stolperstein dieses Vorhabens könnte Naruto werden, der während des kompletten Sportfestivals alles anderes als konzentriert zu sein scheint …

Kakashi hat eine Grillparty organisiert, bei der sich die Teams der jungen Ninja zusammengefunden haben. Als er kurz verschwindet, um sich ein Getränk zu kaufen, findet Naruto eine alte Flasche. Als aus dieser dann ein Flaschengeist kommt, glaubt das Team 7 erst nicht daran, doch als zwei der drei Wünsche sinnlos verschwendet wurden, beginnt ein Kampf um den letzten Wunsch.

Die Geschichte spielt im Jahr 2027, ein Jahr nach dem Ende des vierten nichtnuklearen Krieges. New Port City leidet immer noch unter den Folgen des Krieges, als es zu einem Bombenanschlag durch eine selbstfahrende Mine kommt. Dann wird ein Militärangehöriger, der in den Waffenhandel mit Bestechungsgeldern verwickelt ist, erschossen. Während der Ermittlungen trifft Daisuke Aramaki von der Abteilung für öffentliche Sicherheit auf Motoko Kusanagi, den Cyborg-Hacker auf Zaubererniveau, der der 501. Geheimeinheit des Militärs zugeteilt ist. Batou, ein Mann mit dem „Auge, das nicht schläft“, vermutet, dass Kusanagi hinter dem Bombenanschlag steckt. Der Detektiv der Präfekturpolizei Niihama, Togusa, verfolgt seine eigenen Doppelfälle, nämlich den Mord bei einer Schießerei und den Mord an einer Prostituierten. Motoko selbst wird vom Chef Kurutsu und Cyborg-Agenten der 501. Geheimeinheit beobachtet.

Naruto x UT is the eighth Naruto OVA. Approximately 200,000 copies of this OVA were distributed by Uniqlo to promote a line of Naruto-themed shirts designed by Masashi Kishimoto in conjunction with Studio Pierrot. It shows the aftermath between a fight between Naruto and Sasuke and shows clips of their times together and the story so far.
