Halfway between the experimental, psychotronic cinema and avant-garde cinema, it´s a very extravagant version of the character, softened in the second incursion of the Trauma Group in the character: "Peter Parker is Spider-Man" (1996), closer than this to the original comic.

Nachdem Mechagodzilla in seinem letzten Kampf gegen Godzilla schwer beschädigt wurde, wird er nun in einem Untergrund-Dock aus Godzillaknochen wiederhergestellt. Yoshito Nakajo, Mitglied der Reparaturtruppe bekommt während seines Urlaubs unerwarteten Besuch von ein paar Feen der Infant Islands. Sie raten ihm eindringlich ab einen Roboter aus Godzillaknochen zu bauen, andernfalls würde Mothra die Seiten wechseln und gegen die Menschheit kämpfen. Die Reparatur wird trotzdem fortgesetzt und schon bald mehren sich seltsame Ereignisse. Es dauert nicht lange und schon wütet Godzilla wieder in den Städten Japans. Bald eilt auch schon Mothra zu Hilfe aber dann entscheidet der Premierminister den noch nicht ganz reparierten Mechagodzilla am Kampf teilnehmen zu lassen. Der Kampf unter den drei Monstern beginnt als plötzlich neue Riesenungeheuer hinzukommen. Und keiner weiß ob sie Freunde oder Feinde der Menschheit sind!

Dänemark 1850: Der Hirtenjunge Larus entdeckt ein halb verwildertes und scheues Mädchen. Es ist die neunjährige Tinke, die allein im Wald lebt. Zögernd freunden sich die beiden an und Tinke begleitet Larus auf den Bauernhof, auf dem er arbeitet. Dieser Hof wird vom Bauern mit strenger Hand geführt, so dass die willensstarke und freiheitsliebende Tinke dort nicht glücklich ist. Zusammen mit Larus macht sie sich auf, ihre richtige Familie zu suchen.
