Wie auch im schon im Vorgänger-"Kurzfilm" entwickelte der damals hauptsächlich der Malerei zugewandte Lynch über Stop-Motion Aufnahmen eines sich stetig weiterentwickelnden, in neue Formen und Szenarien transformierenden Gemäldes eine bewegte Sequenz. Hauptthema ist das Alphabet, bzw. das Kinderlied darüber.
