Dort verbringen die Kinder eine sehr aktive Schulzeit und können sich – angeleitet von diskret im Hintergrund agierenden Erziehern – an zahlreichen Aufgaben wie lesen, Brot backen und rechnen versuchen.

Der Film dokumentiert die Rückkehr des militärischen Geistes in Tschechien. Die Versuche, Wehrunterricht und Wehrpflicht zu erneuern und die Bevölkerung insgesamt auf den nächsten Krieg einzustellen und vorzubereiten, gehen einher mit deren Angst vor den Russen, Muslimen oder beliebigen anderen „Feinden“. Von verschiedenen Seiten beleuchtet der Film die innere und äußere Aufrüstung des kleinen Landes, das sich als Spielball der Großmächte fühlt und nun zu einer vermeintlichen militärischen Wehrhaftigkeit finden will. Der Film zeigt, wie leicht Menschen von Medien und Politik in eine Paranoia hineinmanipuliert werden können, und er ist auch eine Warnung vor der Möglichkeit, dass Extremismus Teil des Lehrplans wird.
