Natale sucht vergebens nach Arbeit, verübt einen Überfall und wird für eine Tat eingesperrt, die er nicht begangen hat. Mery wartet auf ihren Prozeß und geht in der Zwischenzeit auf den Strich. Antonio arbeitet ohne Lizenz auf dem Wochenmarkt und wird von der Polizei mit ständigen Kontrollen verfolgt. King Kong gerät in eine Schießerei mit der Polizei, nachdem er eine tragbare Stereoanlage geklaut hat.

Ein Lehrer nimmt vorübergehend eine Stelle in der Jugendstrafvollzugsanstalt von Palermo an. Der Film dreht sich um drei Jungen und ein Mädchen, die während des Übergangs von der Franco-Diktatur in Spanien leben. Sie verüben in ihrer Heimatstadt Madrid regemäßig Raubüberfälle, bei einem dieser Überfälle kommen die drei jungen Männer ums Leben und nur das Mädchen überlebt und kann fliehen.
