With Bella gone and no answers in sight, the gift raises questions — and dread. The story builds tension as Mortimer struggles with loss and the strange presence of Dina Caliente, his mistress. The film’s shocking climax reveals that the package contains Bella’s severed head, sent as a deadly message from Dina, exposing a dark and twisted betrayal within the family.

The burst dam sent a wall of water and debris, 40 feet high and half a mile wide, 14 miles downstream to the bustling industrial city of Johnstown, Pennsylvania. More than 2000 people lost their lives in the disaster. This documentary tells the story, and tells us that the disaster was easily avoidable.

The VIT is a new trail, and Nick and Becca are among the first hikers to attempt to hike the route in one six-week trip. The story of Nick's experience with diabetes throughout his life is interwoven with the challenges of managing it in a backcountry environment, bringing information and insight about a chronic health condition that is reasonably common yet misunderstood by many people. The mountains, forests, and coastlines of Vancouver Island are brought to life by original art, animation, and photography by the filmmakers, both of whom are multidisciplinary visual artists. Peaks and Valleys will appeal to lovers of nature, adventure, art, and disability justice.

Tutu Revisited is a wonderful showcase for the exceptional bass skills of Marcus Miller and represents his homage to the timeless music of Miles Davis. Before an appreciative audience in Lyon (France), Marcus and his band settle into a comfortable groove of funk & rhythm and interact with each other very effectively. Christian Scott's trumpet recalls much of the timbre and subtlety of Miles, but with his own unique "whispering" style of playing. Quite a virtuoso and extraordinary talent in his own rite.
