Tom will einer schicken Katzendame gefallen und bereitet sich auf einen Besuch vor. Doch dem Kätzchen gefallen weder Gesang noch Blumen. Vielleicht braucht Tom eine passende Kleidung?

Toms neues Buch über „Wie man eine Maus fängt“ erweist sich als nicht allzu hilfreich gegen Jerry; Tatsächlich scheint Jerry mehr zu nutzen als Tom.

Tom spielt mit Jerry, als eine süße Katzendame zu Mammy gebracht wird, damit sie sich um sie kümmern kann. Tom ist auf den ersten Blick hingerissen.

Der Familienhund warnt Tom, keinen Lärm zu machen, damit er ein Nickerchen machen kann. Jerry hört dies und entwirft sofort Pläne, um sicherzustellen, dass das Nickerchen des Hundes unterbrochen wird.

Es ist Frühling und Tom interessiert sich viel mehr für die Katze von nebenan als für Jerry.

Tom und ein anderer Kater geraten in einen Kampf um Jerry. Doch der weiß die Situation für sich zu nutzen.

Tom spielt Golf, aber dank Jerry springt der Ball immer wieder aus dem Becher.

Bei einer Jagd landet Jerry in einer Tinte die ihn unsichtbar macht. Das ändert die Verhältnisse schlagartig.

Jerry nimmt einen Mitternachtssnack aus dem Kühlschrank, ohne zu merken, dass Tom ihn beobachtet.

Tom lädt Toots zu einem eleganten Dinner ein. Er hat jedoch den Fehler gemacht, Jerry als Diener, Korkenzieher und für andere Aufgaben einzusetzen.
