Photographed through the windshield of a Vancouver city bus and edited according to the rhythms of the bus' windshield wiper, the film transforms the linear narrative of the bus ride into a temporal construction that can be described as cubist. The effect of the cutting strategy on the actual temporal organization of the film is as remarkable as its effect on our sense of time.

In a desolate place called the Badlands, four men stand off with guns drawn, their fingers ready at the trigger. Among them are a fugitive seeking redemption, a son out to avenge his father's murder, a loyal servant with a secret and a murderous criminal hired to kill with a vengeance. This is their story...in a place where revenge, deception and cruelty are a way of life.

Als Erwachsener begann Johann noch in Bukarest mit seiner Sammelleidenschaft, selbstspielende Instrumente von Scheunen, aus Kellern oder sogar von Müllplätzen zu retten. Mit viel Liebe für das Detail restauriert Johann seine gefundenen Kleinode in seinem 250 Jahre alten Schulhaus des Ortes Arnsgereuth.
