In an effort to discover the depth of the country's polarization, four recent college graduates decide to travel across the United States gathering stories encompassing the spectrum of life in America. Their goal is to find the human stories behind the nation's social and political schism, proving that Americans are not tied together by political identity, geographical location or belief systems, but primarily by love, hope and dreams - universal truths.

A project spanning three years of production and research, Lion is a collection of 7 short films exploring the Chernobyl disaster, the nature of radiation, memory, and personal history. Conceptually arranged in to a film “album”, Lion’s seven works navigate atomic fallout and a girl’s adolescence, a dream before death, radiation as a cause and cure for cancer, masculine bravado, feminine obsession, a trip to Chernobyl amongst the death of a matriarch, and the destruction of memory. Composed of seven works, Lion is a series of films created on 16mm and hand processed with darkroom techniques that mimic the effects of radiation on film. Researched in Chernobyl, the series is a product of memories, history, pop culture and technical experiments to create visual representations of invisible forces.

Juli bricht die Schlacht los und verwandelt das Gebiet in einen höllischen Feuerbogen, in dem die Deutschen Divisionen unter gewaltigen Verlusten stecken bleiben. Die Rote Armee geht erfolgreich zum Gegenangriff über und stößt unaufhaltsam in Richtung Orjol vor. – Der endgültige Ausgang der Schlacht fällt in der kleinen Ortschaft Prochorowka, in der sich am 12. Juli faschistische Panzerdivisionen und Panzereinheiten der Roten Armee in der größten Panzerschlacht des Zweiten Weltkrieges gegenüberstehen.
