Filmed April 12, 2003 at a benefit concert held at and for The Anthology Film Archives, the international center for the preservation, study, and exhibition of avant-garde and independent cinema. In addition to screening films for the public, AFA houses a film museum, research library and art gallery. The event, which raised money for the Archives and celebrated the life and work of avant-garde film maker Stan Brakhage, featured Sonic Youth providing an improvised instrumental collaboration with silent Brakhage’s films. The band performed with drummer/percussionist Tim Barnes (Essex Green, Jukeboxer, Silver Jews).

After the smash success of the first Celtic Thunder production in 2008, producers Sharon Browne and Phil Coulter have developed an all-new Irish-music showcase. The sharply dressed male vocalists who starred in the first show have returned, and each performer gets a chance to show off his pop sensibility. The energetic set includes traditional Celtic tunes as well as rock covers and original compositions by Coulter.

Vater und Mutter gehen an einem sonnigen Tag mit ihrer Tochter Dollie spazieren. Ein Zigeuner möchte der Mutter Gefäße verkaufen. Als sie keinerlei Interesse zeigt, versucht er, sie zu bestehlen. Ihr Ehemann eilt herbei, verprügelt und verjagt den Zigeuner. Aus Rache entführt dieser Dollie und versteckt sie in seinem Lager in einem Fass. Obwohl die Eltern umgehend ihre Tochter suchen und auch den Pferdewagen des Zigeuners nicht auslassen, finden sie das Mädchen nicht. Die Zigeuner laden das Fass in den Wagen und ziehen weiter. Beim Durchqueren eines Flusses verlieren sie es aber, so dass es im Wasser treibt und gefährliche Stromschnellen passieren muss, ehe es schließlich von einem Jungen ans Ufer gezogen wird. Der herbeieilende Vater befreit Dollie und nimmt sie wieder in seine Arme.

Ninas Halbbruder Jacob (Ashton Holmes) steckt zudem – wie eigentlich alle von Poppys Kindern – in argen Geldnöten, schuldet der Online-Pokerspieler seinen Gläubigern doch 160.000 Dollar. Und nun drohen diese ihm, seine Freundin Missy (Amy Ferguson) zu töten. Als wäre all dies nicht schon dramatisch genug, hat Familienvorstand Poppy selbst schlechte Nachrichten zu überbringen.

Black Nation is a compelling film that takes a hard, uncompromising look at the state of Black men in America today through the prism of the streets of Detroit and the City's controversial Shrine of the Black Madonna.

The story begins with a swashbuckling thief, Surendra (Nandamuri Balakrishna), also a master of disguise, who always targets Vidhatha (Charan Raj), dictator of the city and he is being tracked down by SP Indrani (Sharada), an efficient Police officer. Surendra contracts a multi-speciality hospital for work free of cost with all this money. Whether Surendra and Indrani will be able take revenge against Vidhatha, and he will be able complete the hospital forms the rest of the story.
