Dann, nach der Umbenennung wegen der Verwechslungsgefahr mit der gleichnamigen US-Gesangstruppe, waren sie mehr als die Schatten von Cliff. 1960 hatten die Shadows mit „Apache“ ihren ersten Singlehit, unzählige sollten folgen. Eigentlich hatte die Band nicht mehr gemacht, als den Sound des US-amerikanischen Sologitarristen Duane Eddy zu kopieren. Aber ihren Meister haben sie dann um Längen geschlagen. Selbst, wenn sie Titel ihres Vorbilds wie „Shazam“ nachspielten. 2004/2005 gingen Leadgitarrist Hank Marvin und Rhythmusgitarrist Bruce Welch zusammen mit Schlagzeuger Brian Bennett, der Anfang der Sechziger dazu gestoßen war, zum letzten Mal auf Tour. Das vorliegende Konzert wurde im walischen Cardiff aufgenommen.
