Dort entwickelt man eine Anti-Godzilla-Bombe die ein schwarzes Loch erzeugt, das das grüne Monster aufsaugen soll. Während eines letzten Tests unterläuft ein Fehler und das Tor zu einer anderen Dimension wird geöffnet. Heraus kommt eine Riesenlarve aus der nach kurzer Zeit 5-Meter-lange Riesenlibellen schlüpfen, die Meganulas. Sie sammeln Energie und pumpen sie in eine weitere Larve aus der schließlich jenes Monster schlüpft mit dem selbst Godzilla nicht gerechnet hätte: Megaguirus ein gigantischer Riesenkäfer. Der will sofort Godzillas Energie anzapfen und so wird Japan schließlich zum Schlachtfeld auf dem sich Godzilla, Megaguirus und die Menschheit gegenüber stehen...

Neubearbeitete Zusammenfassung des ersten Teils (Folge 1 bis 15) der gleichnamigen Serie. Die Story selbst beinhaltet einige neu animierte Szenen sowie Kürzungen bei Episoden, die wenig zum Verlauf der Handlung beitragen. Ebenso wurde ein neuer Titelsong, erneut von Shoko Nakagawa, verwendet.

Auf eine Reihe schlechter Erfahrungen mit Monsterattacken in der Vergangenheit reagiert die UNO mit einer genetisch modifizierten Kämpferbrigade, die sich des Problems bislang auch erfolgreich annimmt. Nun jedoch erscheinen wie aus dem Nichts Dutzende von Monstern gleichzeitig in allen Weltmetropolen und richten verheerende Zerstörungen an. Feeling responsible for getting everyone involved, Papi tries to stand up to the rebels. Doraemon and his friends leave for the planet Pirika to protect their dear friend and his home.

Nobita helps Doraemon to create a space movie. After Dekisugi fails to help them, the duo rope in Shizuka, who prefers to make a film about dolls.
