Das ungewöhnliche Wettersystem hatte dafür gesorgt, dass der Sturm an der Küste einen Haischwarm aufgesaugt hatte, die nun um die Freiheitsstatue ebenso wie über den Broadway tänzeln. Natürlich lassen sich die Sharknado-Experten dies nicht bieten, sondern gehen sogleich in die Offensive, indem sie dem Sturm mit Kettensägen und selbstgebauten Bomben trotzen.
