Die Handlung dreht sich um die beiden Oberschüler Kei Asai und Misora Haruki. Während Letztere die Zeit bis zu drei Tage zurückdrehen kann, hat Kei die Fähigkeit, sich perfekt an alles, was er sieht und hört zu erinnern, auch nachdem Misora die Zeit zurückgedreht hat. Beide sind Mitglieder des sogenannten „Service Clubs“ an ihrer Schule, der von der Stadtverwaltung genutzt wird, um alle mit Spezialfähigkeiten ausgestatteten Menschen zu beobachten und den Frieden zu bewahren. Indem sie ihre Kräfte kombinieren, lösen die beiden gemeinsam Fälle für den Club. Dabei erfährt Kei von dem „MacGuffin“-Stein, der wie ein wertloser, schwarzer Stein aussieht, von dem in Wahrheit jedoch die Existenz der kompletten Stadt abhängt.
