Mit Robert Mitchum, Jane Seymour und den vielen anderen Schauspielern ist War and Remembrance perfekt besetzt. Man glaubt den Akteuren was sie spielen. Vor allem Jane Seymour, die die Jüdin Natalie Henry darstellt und für ihre Rolle für einen Emmy nominiert wurde, geht bis an ihre Grenzen. Außerdem greift die Serie immer wieder auf Original Filmmaterial zurück um die Ereignisse zu verdeutlichen. Wer bis jetzt War and Remembrance noch nicht gesehen hat, der sollte dies nachholen. Es lohnt sich für diejenigen, die ein realistisches und Bild vom zweiten Weltkrieg bekommen wollen. Ein Bild, das alles einfängt und nichts ausläßt.
