Catfish Brasil ist die brasilianische Version der amerikanischen Fernsehsendung Catfish, die auf dem Dokumentarfilm Catfish aus dem Jahr 2010 basiert. Sie wird von Producciones Animus produziert und auf MTV (Brasilien) ausgestrahlt und wird von Ciro Ventas und Ricardo Gadelha moderiert und hatte am 31. August 2016 Premiere.

Bill Burnett composed the show's theme music. Oh Yeah! Cartoons was distributed by Nelvana outside of the United States.
