Captain Shikha Sharma (Nimrat Kaur) is the only woman in a group of Indian Army officers training to join the Special Forces. Gezeigt werden mehrere Schauplätze. Der U-Boot Krieg im Pazifik, Deutschland, Theresienstadt und Auschwitz. Mit Robert Mitchum, Jane Seymour und den vielen anderen Schauspielern ist War and Remembrance perfekt besetzt. Man glaubt den Akteuren was sie spielen. Vor allem Jane Seymour, die die Jüdin Natalie Henry darstellt und für ihre Rolle für einen Emmy nominiert wurde, geht bis an ihre Grenzen. Außerdem greift die Serie immer wieder auf Original Filmmaterial zurück um die Ereignisse zu verdeutlichen. Wer bis jetzt War and Remembrance noch nicht gesehen hat, der sollte dies nachholen. Es lohnt sich für diejenigen, die ein realistisches und Bild vom zweiten Weltkrieg bekommen wollen. Ein Bild, das alles einfängt und nichts ausläßt.

Erdmännchen Timon und Warzenschwein Pumbaa sind ein unschlagbares Team. Während der wendige, schlaue Timon den aktiven Part des Duos darstellt, sorgt der gemütliche und warmherzige Pumbaa für die gute Laune. Das smarte Erdmännchen Timon und das Warzenschwein Pumbaa sind mit dem großen Erfolg des Disney-Meisterwerks „Der König der Löwen“ über Nacht zu Berühmtheiten geworden. Das immer vergnügte, lebenslustige Pärchen, dessen Lebensmotto „Hakuna Matata“ – frei übersetzt: „Mach’ dir keine Sorgen“ lautet, reist um die ganze Welt, immer auf Suche nach neuen Abenteuern und lustigen Freunden.
