Kato versucht mit ihr die Kontrolle über den Geist von Masakado zu bekommen. Eine geistliche Truppe und ihr Meister Hirai versuchen Kato auch aufzuhalten, was jedoch nicht einfach ist. Kato schnappt sich Yukari und pflanzt ihr einen Dämonensamen ein, aber Hirai kann den Dämon nach seiner Geburt vernichten. Aber Kato hat ihr inzwischen schon den zweiten Samen eingesetzt. Kato benutzt Yukari als Opfergabe und ruft erneut den Geist Masakados...auch diesmal gelingt es Kato nicht, die Kontrolle zu übernehmen. Hirai, der sich die Schuld gibt Kato nicht aufgehalten zu haben, bringt sich um. Sein Nachfolger Koda soll jetzt Kato aufhalten.
