Dazu dient ihnen der Wunschpunsch, von dessen Rezept die beiden jeweils eine Hälfte besitzen, und mit dem sie die Welt der Menschen jeweils auf eine andere Art schrecklich verändern. Nur wenig Zeit bleiben dem Kater Maurizio di Mauro, dem Raben Jakob Krakel und den anderen tierischen Menschenfreunden, die Wirkung der fiesen Flüche rückgängig zu machen.

Koguma lebt in Yamanashi und besucht das zweite Jahr der Oberschule. Eltern hat sie keine mehr, noch einen wirklichen Freundeskreis und so ist ihr tägliches Leben eher trostlos. Eines Tages kauft Koguma sich ein gebrauchtes Honda-Super-Cub-Motorrad und fährt seitdem jeden Tag mit diesem zur Schule. Wenn Koguma kleine Umwege fährt oder ihr das Benzin ausgeht, werden daraus schnell kleine Abenteuer. Mit dieser Veränderung in ihren Leben ist sie schon sehr zufrieden. Als sie dann auch noch von ihrer Klassenkameradin Reiko angesprochen wird, die ihr erzählt, dass auch sie mit dem Motorrad zur Schule fährt, beginnt sich die Welt des einsamen Mädchens langsam zu verändern, was Koguma neue Freundschaften und einen neuen Alltag beschert.

Und wird Shindo als Vermittler zwischen den Japanern und den Anisotorons auftreten können?
