Die zweite Serie um den furchtsamen Hund Scooby-Doo und seinen Freunden Shaggy, Velma, Fred und Daphne. Nachdem die erste Serie „Scooby-Doo – Wo bist Du?“ so erfolgreich gewesen war, durfte das Team der Geisterjäger diesmal in jeder Episode auf mehr oder weniger berühmten Persönlichkeiten treffen. Einige sind hierzulande unbekannte amerikanische Showgrößen, andere schon wieder vergessen und einige sind anderen Trickserein von Hanna-Barbera entliehen. Um einige zu nennen: Die Sänger Sonny & Cher, Davy Jones von den Monkees, die drei Stooges, die Harlem Globetrotters, Batman oder Josie & die Pussycats aus einem anderen Hanna-Barbera-Cartoon. Ansonsten blieb man beim Altbewährten: unheimliche Fälle entpuppen sich als Verbrechen.

Denn in Coolsville scheint es nur so von Monstern, Geistern und Dämonen zu wimmeln. Shaggy und Scooby sind zwar keine Helden, im Gegenteil, eigentlich sind sie richtige Angsthasen. Aber mit ein paar Schmeckies, Scoobys Lieblingsspeise, wird der schlaue Hund zum unerschrockenen Monsterjäger.

Eine richtige Geschichte gibt es bei „Do not adjust your set“ nicht. Es handelt sich schließlich um eine Sketchcomedy-Serie. Wiederkehrende Elemente sind in der Comedyreihe dennoch zu finden. So wird in den einzelnen Folgen die Geschichte von „Captain Fantastic“ erzählt und die „Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band“ darf in jeder Folge Teile ihres ungewöhnlichen Portfolio präsentieren.

Daphne, Freddy, Shaggy und Velma jagen wieder Geister und Verbrecher, begleitet von ihrem Hund Scooby-Doo und dessen Neffen Scrappy-Doo, der sich ausgerechnet seinen ängstlichen Onkel zum Vorbild erkoren hat und selbst recht übermütig ist.

The Liver Birds is a British sitcom set in the city of Liverpool, in the north-west of England, which aired on BBC1 from 1969 to 1978, and again in 1996. It was created by Carla Lane and Myra Taylor. These two Liverpudlian writers had met at a local writers club and decided to pool their talents. Having been invited to London by Michael Mills and asked to write about two young women sharing a flat, Mills brought in sitcom expert Sydney Lotterby to work with the writing team. Lotterby had previously worked with Eric Sykes, Sheila Hancock and on The Likely Lads. Carla Lane in fact wrote most of the episodes, Taylor co-writing only the first two series. The pilot was shown as an episode of Comedy Playhouse, the BBC's breeding ground for sitcoms, in April 1969.

On this show, Rocko has such adventures as trying to adapt to a new vacuum cleaner, having Heffer move in temporarily after his parents kick him out, and going to a movie theater.
