This documentary film comprises of interviews with five Vietnam War veterans in 1982 in prison for violent crimes committed after leaving the military, interwoven with film and television clips from the period. All five interviewed were decorated for bravery and none of the five men had a criminal record prior to going to Vietnam.

As they visit patient after patient in Flora's old car "Neil", Flora and Kev slowly start to bond. By the end, plucky Kev realises he might just have what it takes to be a nurse whilst Flora's passion for nursing is reignited.

Elsa ist eine erfahrene Bewährungshelferin und lebt mit ihrem Partner Raimar und der gemeinsamen Tochter Daniela zusammen. Mit dem Auszug der Tochter bekommen Elsas Routinen erste Risse, eingespielte Abläufe leuchten ihr plötzlich nicht mehr ein. Stattdessen wird sie empfänglich für alles, was ihr ein neues und intensives Lebensgefühl verspricht. Als der junge Straftäter Jan ihr unverhohlen anbietet, sich ihr sexuell zu unterwerfen, willigt Elsa nach kurzem Zögern ein. Wie in einem Sog zelebrieren die beiden zusammen ihre Sehnsüchte und schaffen sich so ihren ganz eigenen sexuellen Kosmos. Elsas bisheriges bürgerliches Leben gerät zusehends aus den Fugen.

Fotografin Brooke Konrad und ihr Freund Tanner Behlman schleichen sich regelmäßig in verlassene, eigentlich für die Öffentlichkeit gesperrte Gebäude, um dort besonders aufregende Bilder mit morbider Stimmung schießen zu können. Wobei der sie dabei ereilende Adrenalinkick natürlich auch eine Rolle spielt – zumindest unterschwellig. Als die beiden sich nach langem Zögern endlich trauen, in ihren „heiligen Gral“ einzubrechen – Franklin Hill, ein riesiges Herrenhaus mit reichlich mysteriöser Historie – sind sie dort allerdings nicht lange allein. Zu ihrer Überraschung treffen sie auf einen ebenso paranoiden wie aggressiven Hausbesetzer, der sie bedroht und schließlich in einem der Räume einsperrt. Je länger die zwei hier festgehalten werden, desto klarer wird ihnen, dass mit dem Ort noch etwas ganz anderes nicht stimmen kann …
