In seinem Dokumentarfilm, der ebenfalls den Titel des Musikstücks trägt, erzählt Regisseur André Schäfer von dem erstaunlichen Werdegang von „You’ll Never Walk Alone“, das von Richard Rodgers und Oscar Hammerstein komponiert wurde und ursprünglich aus dem 1945 uraufgeführten Broadway-Musical „Carousel“ stammt. Dabei geleitet der deutsche Schauspieler Joachim Król, selbst ebenfalls bekennender Fußballfan, durch den Film und führt Interviews mit anderen Fußballbegeisterten: Schauspielern wie etwa Mavie Hörbiger, Musikern wie Campino und natürlich auch professionellen Fußballern und Fußballtrainern wie etwa Jürgen Klopp.
