When the rock band JoKers broke up one member flew over to be with the yankees and try to make a living there. Another one decided to focus on his schooling and become a university graduate instead of continue on with music. Two others are still hopeful their music career can be put back together. To rekindle all members' love for rock one of the members is hired to coach all-girl band Drop Doll. In the meanwhile, the girls are improving.

On a Friday night, two actresses share their fears.

Discovering that her father, Peter Marshall, had been defrauded by a business partner named James Bartlett, Betty goes to Los Angeles to visit her aunt, Mrs. Hamilton Haines, whose late husband had a hand in ruining Peter. Tom, Bartlett's son, has arranged a yachting trip for Mrs. Haines and her daughter Ida, and Ida, deciding that her cousin is too pretty to come along, persuades Betty to stay behind. Tom, on the way to the yacht after a quarrel with his father, passes the Haines mansion and, noticing a sign advertising room and board, stops. Meeting Betty who is posing as Miss Haines, Tom moves in and falls in love with his landlady. When Betty accidentally meets Tom's father, the old man is so captivated that he offers her $5,000 to marry his son. After Tom and Betty are married, when both fathers discover their in-laws' true identities they are first indignant but later are reconciled.

Pluto walks past the zoo and sees the huge bone the sleeping lion has but getting it out is easier said than done. He gets it out of the lion's cage, but then has to face the kangaroo and its playful joey. Next is the gorilla, then the crocodiles.

Matthias is going on a weekend course of self-discovery called “My Value on Earth,” which was an expensive gift from his girlfriend. The course is supposed to help him deal with his chronic inability to finish things that he’s started. But before Matthias leaves, his girlfriend springs a surprise on him: he’s going to be a father. And so he hopes to use the weekend, which he has no real desire to go on, to answer new and pressing questions. The “alternative” therapist, however, doesn’t inspire much trust. The tragicomedy Frantic Attempts takes aim at the field of personal development, in particular, dubious therapists who offer quick fixes. After all, what if we should answer our existential questions ourselves instead of trying to find answers from others?

Painter Gao Yuan’s experimental animation is composed of a series of surreal scenes, based on her acrylic paintings made between 2010-14. Objects and people find themselves in unusual situations where rules of gravity and structure do not apply. The familiar yet unnervingly offbeat scenes are connected through unexpected sounds and rhythms. Under the dim moonlight, the characters are stuck in a dream state from which they cannot awaken.

The air in London was damp and cold, a stark contrast to the vibrant warmth of Kathmandu that Anmol often dreamed of. It had been five years since he left Nepal for the United Kingdom, chasing the dreams his mother, Susmita, had envisioned for him. She had sacrificed everything-her small savings, her comfort, and her daily joy of having her son by her side-so Anmol could study and build a better life abroad. Anmol was a hard worker, juggling university classes and long hours at Amrish's restaurant. The boss, a shrewd businessman, valued profits over people. Anmol, like the rest of the staff, was little more than a cog in the relentless machinery of the restaurant's success. One evening, after another grueling 12-hour shift, Anmol sat on his small bed in his shared apartment. His phone buzzed. It was his mother. "Anmol, Dashain and Tihar are coming. I've cleaned the house and even set aside some money to buy your favorite sweets.

Kongko, a male figure who is going through second puberty, is met with Jaka a.k.a Mira, who has a background job as an effeminate man, in a small bathroom. They find comfort in sincere conversations amidst the chaos of their own lives.

A bicycle messenger sees a girl being brutally assaulted and dragged into a van. She immediately calls the police, but unfortunately the girl is found too late. It turns out that the murdered girl has been the victim of a serious sexual crime. Detective Inspector Irene Huss and the rest of the team begin to look for the murderer, but have very few clues to go on. When another young girl is murdered in a similar way, the team realizes that they are dealing with a sexual predator. How does he get in touch with the girls? Why do they agree to meet him? Zeitgeist: Addendum ist ein von Peter Joseph 2008 produzierter Film, der mit den Mitteln eines Dokumentarfilms Betrachtungen des 2007 erschienenen Films Zeitgeist, Der Film desselben Regisseurs vertieft und ergänzt. Der Film behandelt das amerikanische Federal Reserve System, die CIA, Regierungsformen, Religionen und die Unternehmens- und Wirtschaftssituation der Welt an Beispielen der USA. Er schlussfolgert eine diesen Institutionen innewohnende Korruption, die der Menschheit insgesamt nur schädlich sein kann und abgelöst werden sollte. Der Film beschreibt das „Venus Project“ als nicht perfekte, aber heutzutage mögliche Lösung.
