Das Leonard Cohen Konzert in der Londoner O2 Arena am 17. Juli 2008. Seine Stimme ist unverwechselbar. Als der 73-jährige Leonard Cohen 2008 nach langer Konzertabstinenz wieder auf der Bühne steht, begeistert er seine Fans in der Londoner O2-Arena wie eh und je.

Dass die Fans jeder dieser DVDs mit Spannung entgegen blicken, liegt daran, dass sich DREAM THEATER immer etwas Besonderes überlegt und die Setlisten so enorm variantenreich sind. Das gilt natürlich auch für "Breaking The Fourth Wall", bei dem drei Alben im Mittelpunkt stehen. Im ersten Teil konzentrieren sich John Petrucci, James LaBrie & Co. auf das neue, unbetitelte Album, das hier mit vier Songs vorgestellt wird. Dabei zeigt sich auch die Klasse von Nummern wie 'The Enemy Inside', 'Along For The Ride' oder 'The Looking Glass', die mir livehaftig hier mehr zusagen als auf dem Album. Der Rest des ersten Aktes besteht aus dem Instrumental 'Enigma Machine', den beiden "A Dramatic Turn Of Events"-Nummern 'On The Back Of Angels und 'Breaking All Illusions' sowie den beiden Überraschungen 'The Shattered Fortress' und 'Trial Of Tears'. Letzteres inklusive feinen Soloeinlagen von Mike Mangini und John Petrucci.

Deloris ist eine lebensfreudige Person, die in einer Bar als Sängerin arbeitet. Eines Tages wird sie jedoch Zeuge, wie ihr Freund Vincent, ein lokaler Mafia-Boss, einen seiner Feinde kaltblütig liquidiert. Da Vincent es nicht mag, wenn Zeugen anwesend sind, versucht er Deloris ebenfalls zu ermorden, diese kann aber in letzter Sekunde noch entkommen und findet Schutz bei der Polizei. Aus Sicherheit vor ihrem mörderischen Freund wird Deloris in ein Zeugenschutzprogramm gepackt und an einen Ort gebracht, in dem sie niemand vermuten würde - ein Konvent in San Francisco. Hat sie anfangs noch Schwierigkeiten einen Platz unter den Nonnen zu finden, ändert sich dies relativ schnell, als sie die Leitung des Kloster-Chors übernimmt und damit zu einer regionalen Berühmtheit wird. Durch die neuerliche Aufmerksamkeit, schafft es aber auch Vincent herauszufinden wo seine dringend gesuchte Zeugin sich aufhält…

Lara lebt in zwei Welten: in der ihrer taubstummen Eltern und in ihrer eigenen, in der Geräusche etwas ganz Normales sind. Schon als Kind unterhält sie sich mit ihren Eltern in der Gebärdensprache.
