When Max (Eric Stoltz), urged on by "Risk Management," a self-help book for the hapless, decides to approach his fellow ferry-commuter Rory (Susanna Thompson), he hopes simply saying hello might change his life for the better. But Rory only accepts contact by contract. Max finds he can play along. As the two negotiate a whirlwind relationship on paper, Rory slowly lets down her guard; but when her unresolved personal life intervenes in the form of Donald (Kevin Tighe), Max must manage a little more risk than he bargained on.

While settling into married life with Akiko, Ryu is brought into a case involving a woman named Katsuragi Aoi, a member of a pickpocketing ring with most of her teammates murdered from unknown masked vigilantes that Ryu fought as Accel. As the details of the case begin to unravel, Ryu is framed and Akiko believes that he may not be faithful to her. As the clock ticks down, Ryu must solve the case, clear his name, and save his marriage before everything comes to an explosive end!

Wer erinnert sich nicht an das traurige Ende des ersten Films: Mogli folgt einem kleinen Mädchen in die Menschensiedlung ohne sich von seinem Freund Balu richtig zu verabschieden. Und genau da geht die Geschichte weiter. Obwohl Mogli im Menschdorf eine Familie und viele Freunde gefunden hat, vermisst er Balu und das Leben im Dschungel mit jeder Menge Essen, Tanzen, Singen und all den anderen Dingen, die Bären nun einmal am besten können.
