Juni 2008 vor 50.000 Fans spielten. „In den letzten Jahren haben wir über hundert Projekt Rev-Shows vor Hunderttausenden von Fans gespielt“, so Sänger Chester Bennington. „Jeder dieser Gigs war etwas Besonderes, aber die Milton Keynes-Show war eine der denkwürdigsten von allen. Es war einer dieser Abende, an denen Band und Publikum eine Einheit bildeten, und wir wollten diese Erfahrung mit allen Fans teilen, die in dieser Nacht nicht selbst dabei sein konnten.“
Winwood und Clapton kreuzten 1969 ihre musikalischen Wege mit der Gründung von Blind Faith, einer Gruppe, die Pionierarbeit bei der Fusion von Rock und Blues zu enormen Studio- und Bühnenerfolgen leistete. Trotz kritischer und populärer Anerkennung war die Band mit nur einem Album und einer kurzen Tournee von 1969, die am 12. Juli im Madison Square Garden debütierte und am 24. August in Hawaii endete, nur von kurzer Dauer. Seitdem sind Winwood und Clapton Freunde geblieben, sind aber im Laufe der Jahre nur ein paar Mal für einen gelegentlichen Song bei einer Wohltätigkeitsveranstaltung zusammen aufgetreten. Die Shows im Madison Square Garden 2008 waren die ersten vollständigen Winwood-Clapton-Konzerte seit fast 40 Jahren.
