Als Coplan nochmals den Archäologen aufsucht, findet er diesen sterbend vor. Dieser kann ihm gerade noch den Namen des Mannes verraten, vor dem Mara solch eine Angst hatte...

Rikka ist durch verschiedene Umstände, die sich durch das Ende der ersten Staffel ergeben, nun obdachlos und so stehen Rikka und Yuuta vor der Herausforderung eine neue Wohnung für sie zu finden. Das Problem ist aber schnell gelöst und Rikka zieht mit Yuuta zusammen. Währenddessen werden die Ereignisse der ersten Staffel noch einmal aus Rikkas Perspektive erzählt, zusammen mit einigen neuen Elementen.
