In einem Nachtclub begegnet er der Bauchtänzerin Eva, die Mara verblüffend ähnlich sieht und behauptet, Maras Zwillingsschwester zu sein. Als Coplan nochmals den Archäologen aufsucht, findet er diesen sterbend vor. Dieser kann ihm gerade noch den Namen des Mannes verraten, vor dem Mara solch eine Angst hatte...

Finally reaching his destination, he is taken through all of the previous stages in a single instant and returned to the source of his journey.
