Als Jake und Cassie beschließen, an Weihnachten zu heiraten, wird alles kompliziert. Außerdem muss in letzter Sekunde noch eine Hochzeitstorte organisiert werden. Jakes Sohn Brandon will währenddessen Zeit mit seiner Freundin verbringen und streitet sich mit seiner Schwester Lori, die wiederum Cassies Ehering verliert.
