Dieser Dokumentationsfilm von Regisseur David Flatman zeigt uns die Entstehung und Entwicklung eines aufregenden Landes. Australien ist nicht nur Heimat der ältesten Lebensformen, sondern beherbergt wohl auch die sonderbarsten Kreaturen, die auf diesem Planeten existieren. Durch die extreme Trockenheit des Kontinents hat Australien eine ganz eigene Entwicklung durchgemacht, die letztlich die ganz besondere Faszination dieses Landes hervorruft.

Filmed April 12, 2003 at a benefit concert held at and for The Anthology Film Archives, the international center for the preservation, study, and exhibition of avant-garde and independent cinema. In addition to screening films for the public, AFA houses a film museum, research library and art gallery. The event, which raised money for the Archives and celebrated the life and work of avant-garde film maker Stan Brakhage, featured Sonic Youth providing an improvised instrumental collaboration with silent Brakhage’s films. The band performed with drummer/percussionist Tim Barnes (Essex Green, Jukeboxer, Silver Jews).

An adult man is recalling his childhood years in North Russia during WWII.

Catrasca (Jorge Porcel) is a man who works in a restaurant and in his spare time helps in a children's home. His problem is that he carries a family tradition that makes him cause catastrophes in his path, one of which takes his boss (Adolfo García Grau) to the hospital. Upon leaving the hospital, Catrasca is run over by Graciela (Graciela Alfano), the daughter of Professor Galíndez (Osvaldo Terranova). This is how he meets this professor, who has a formula that says he will be the salvation of humanity, so he is the object of persecutions by villains such as Dr. Linda Winters (Moria Casán).

In the second part, after reading Don Quixote, the ever-adventurous Vasechkin convinces more cautious Petrov that he has found a game that they could play for life. No sooner they go off than Vasechkin, on a bike, brandishing an umbrella, attacks a giant... That is, a windmill...

Chloe fell in love with Damian at first sight during a nursing job. Later, in order to save her seriously ill father, she married Damian, who was accidentally blind, at the suggestion of Damian's grandmother. After the wedding night, Damian misunderstood Chloe and drove her away. Eight months later, Chloe was alone with twins and had to deliver food because of lack of money.

Our fear was wrong, but in 2020, sixteen states continue to keep children in prison for life. "Since I Been Down" shows the power of these children, now adults nearly forty years later, creating a true path to justice and healing from inside their prison walls.
