Die Linzer Kriminalbeamtin Grete Öller und ihre Assistentin Lisa Nemeth können mit dem Exkollegen und seinen merkwürdigen Methoden wenig anfangen. Der Fall scheint als Eifersuchtsmord zunächst ohnehin klar, bis sich herausstellt, dass das Opfer nicht nur erschlagen, sondern auch vergiftet wurde. Sepp ermittelt inzwischen auf eigene Faust.
