Eines Tages lässt sich eine Nomadenfamilie auf dem Nachbargrundstück nieder und in Hatidzes beschauliches Bienenkönigreich ziehen schallende Motoren, sieben kreischende Kinder und 150 Kühe ein. Doch Hatidze freut sich über die neue Gesellschaft und lässt weder sich noch ihre bewährte Imkerei oder ihre Zuneigung zu den Tieren stören. Doch bald trifft Hussein, das Oberhaupt der zugezogenen Familie, Entscheidungen, die Hatidzes Lebensweise für immer zerstören könnten.
