Zu Beginn der Show bestellen die Blauen bei einem TV-Shopping-Kanal einen Lehrkurs für das "perfekte Rockkonzert", nach dessen Anleitung sie die komplexe Welt der Rockstar-Klischees in all ihren Facetten erforschen. Diese Rahmenhandlung bietet denkbar vielfältige Ansätze für eine packende Show von Licht, Farben und Sounds, im Laufe derer es zu außergewöhnlichen Performances, erstaunlichen Visualisierungen und erstklassigen musikalischen Darbietungen kommt. Die Musik der Blue Man Group ist dabei sicherlich nicht besonders originell, aber es sind schnelle und laute Rock-Rhythmen, die das Publikum richtig mitreißen. Obschon eine DVD nur schwerlich ein Ersatz für eine Live-Show ist, kann diese doch einen Eindruck davon geben, wie es ist, einer Show der Blue Man Group beizuwohnen.
